If a team is marking extra innings all of the time, you would think that it would be noticed and those counts would not be the ones used. The office decides which sheet to use. One of my teammates says that George told her (hearsay, of course, per Judge Judy) that teams are not supposed to compare innings at the end of each game. That the office DOES look to see who always has more (maybe adding extras) or always has less (maybe not as attentive as they ought to be) innings than their opponents. Then the office can choose which counts to use according to who they believe to be the more reliable scorekeeper. If you really want to know, why not ask George the next time you see him? Personally, if I KNOW that I was paying attention during the game, I don't ask the other scorekeeper how many they have, because I'm not going to change what I have anyway. But if my attention has wandered I don't have any problem matching up with the other team. It's not possible for the site to be wrong with stats. The data comes directly from the office's database. If it's wrong on the site it's wrong at the office as well so definately call them to get it corrected.

Once they make the correction and re-feed to the website you'll see the correction.
